To say Low Ki has made an impact in ROH is an understatement. Ki became the first ROH World Heavyweight Champion by winning a brutal 60 minute long 4 man match against Spanky, Christopher Daniels, and Doug Williams on 7/27/02 at Crowning Of A Champion. Unfortunatly though, he only successfully defended the title once, against AJ Styles before losing it to Xavier on 9/21/02. Since then though, Ki was still a force to be reckoned with in ROH, as well as many other independent federations all across the US. He was known to be one of the "stiffest" Strong Style Competators, even legitamitly knocking out his real-life friend Dan Maff in the main event of what was to be called "Bitter Friends, Stiffer Enemies". In late 2003, Ki and ROH would part ways after many speculated reasons, one being that he refused to Job to his former trainer Homicide. Regardless of what the real reason was, he returned to ROH on 2/14/04 at the ROH Second Anniversary show to challenge Samoa Joe for the ROH World Heavyweight Title. Although he did not come out on top in that competition, ROH fans were glad to have Low Ki back. However, it didnt last long. On March 4, 2004 Low Ki released a statement on his Official Website stating that he would no longer have anything to do with ROH or RF Video as he supports neither company. This was in response to the "Rob Feinstein situation". Ki may no longer be part of ROH, but he definatly left a mark on this company that wont be soon forgot.
