Samoa Joe debuted in Ring Of Honor on 10/5/02 at Glory By Honor as a "hitman" of sorts hired by The Prophecy to take on Low Ki. Joe had one show-stealing match after another untill it was soon after that he left The Prophecy and joined The Group. Joe then became the 3rd ever ROH World Heavyweight Champion by defeating Xavier at The Night Of Champions show on 3/22/03. Since then, Joe has defended the title time after time to become the longest reigning champ to date, defeating such adversaries as CM Punk, Christopher Daniels, Paul London, and Homicide just to name a few. As of now, theres no telling when, if at all, Joe will part with his world title.
