Danny Maff was trained by fellow ROH star Homicide. When first entering ROH, Maff teamed with partner and fellow Trainee Monsta Mack to form Da Hit Squad. The two were known as the hardest hitting duo in ROH if not all of Independent Wrestling. Eventually, Maff ditched his somewhat goofy gimmick to join Christopher Daniels' Prophecy. The Prophecy is known to totally disrespect ROH and all members of the roster alike by not conforming to the Code Of Honor. As of late though, Maff has seemed to be at odds with his partners, all stemming from BJ Whitmer attacking Second City Saints member Lucy, and driving her out of ROH. Maff swore on his Father's grave that The Prophecy had nothing to do with it but then Daniels brought Whitmer into The Prophecy as their hired Hitman of sorts to take Lucy out. Only time will tell exactly how this situation pans out.
