Few can argue that AJ Styles is truly Phenominal! Having competed in WCW in the past, Styles' career didnt really take off untill he joined NWA TNA when they debuted as a company in late 2002 with their weekly ppv's. While there, AJ quickly climbed the ladder of success winning every title that company has to offer including the X-Division Title, Tag Team Title, and the prestigious NWA World Heavyweight Title. Taking into account the history of that title, noone questioned if AJ Styles deserved it. He proved himself to be the best indie wrestler the sport had to offer.

AJ's career in ROH isnt much different. Styles is a former World Tag Team Champion along with partner The Amazing Red and never actually lost the title. Those titles were vacated when Red sustained a career threatening injury and had to take at least a year off. Then at the ROH 2nd Anniversary Show AJ came out on top in a tournament to crown the First ever ROH Pure Wrestling Champion. AJ has also won the #1 Contenders Trophy.

During his stay in ROH, AJ has had many show stealing matches including when he chalenged World Champion Samoa Joe at War Of The Wire, nearly dethroning the long time champ. Many believe 2004 will be AJ Styles' year to shine, and could very well be the company's World Champion before the year is out. Only time will tell.
