Jay Briscoe, along with his brother Mark Briscoe, have been at the top of the Tag Team division in independent federations all across the US for quite some time now. However, both have also proven to be amazing singles competetors as well. The brothers have had more than one memorable match against each other. After all, who knows you more well than your own brother right? Also, Jay has become number one contender on more than one occasion facing, but ultimatly falling short to both Xavier and Samoa Joe. In fact, things got heated between Samoa Joe and Jay Briscoe to the point where the two met inside a Steel Cage at March 13 in Elizabeth New Jersey.

Jay and Mark cemented thier status as a great Tag Team here in Ring Of Honor by becoming the ROH World Tag Team Champions, defeating Izzy & Dixie of Special K at Main Event Spectacles. Since then, they have defended the titles numerous time under the guidence of their new mentor, the legendary Jim Cornette. The future looks bright for Jay Briscoe. Whether he stays as a Tag Team competetor, or decides to branch out into a full-fledged singles career, he is sure to succeed.
